Important 2015 SCMS Conference Deadlines and News

(Deadline:  Friday, January 9, 2015 @ 5pm CT)

Open Call Paper Assignments to Panels
The information contained in the preliminary program draft for open call papers is NOT final.  Some open call panel assignments and open call panel chairs may change before the program schedule goes to press. The SCMS Office will email final open call panel assignments and identify open call panel chairs in January.
  

Panel, Paper or Workshop Corrections
The preliminary draft of the program will be posted online in early December. Please send minor changes (in affiliation, order of presentations, or spelling corrections) to the SCMS Office at office@cmstudies.org.  

Note: We CANNOT accommodate changes in the scheduled day or time of panels and workshops or requests for substantive changes (changes in paper or panel topics).

Conference Registration & Membership

To be included in the final printed program:

1. You must be or become an SCMS member (not a temporary member) and pay the membership fee by January 30, 2015 (5 pm CT)

AND

2. You must register and pay the conference registration fee by January 30, 2015
(5 pm CT)

If both payments (membership AND registration) are not received on or before January 30, 2014 (5pm CT) your name, affiliation, and paper title or other information will not appear in the final printed conference program. This policy will be strictly enforced. No exceptions!

If your SCMS membership has expired or if you have forgotten your password, please contact the SCMS Office (office@cmstudies.org). Do not create a new profile record.

Upon check-in at the SCMS registration desk at the conference hotel, you will receive a name badge and a conference program.

Conference Registration Refunds
Requests for conference registration refunds must be submitted using the online form.  No cancellations by phone or email.

(Deadline Monday, March 2, 2015)

Hotel Reservation Cut-off Date
Reservation Link:  After this date, reservations will be accepted based on availability. We strongly encourage you to reserve your hotel rooms early. 

Important Travel Information
