Biography
Maria Suzanne Boyd is an Associate Professor of Communication Studies at Delaware County Community College. She serves as the course advocate for American Cinema, Film Language, New Media & Culture and Introduction to Mass Communication. She is also
the founder and faculty advisor of the DCCC New Media Lab. She holds a master's degree in media studies from the University of Texas at Austin and is ABD in moving image studies at Georgia State University. Her research interests include television
studies, film history and media industries studies.
